The events of December 2025: many continuing education opportunities!


On December FGB presented a calendar rich of initiaves for our community! FGB reports strong engagement and positive outcomes from a series of recent educational initiatives aimed at advancing animal welfare, ethical research, and regulatory knowledge among scientific and veterinary professionals.

These initiatives reflect Fondazione Guido Bernardini’s ongoing commitment to high-quality training, ethical excellence, and innovation in animal research and welfare: 

Innovative Digital Ethology Course

The course “Etologia digitale: tecnologie innovative per la ricerca e per il benessere animale” , realized in collaboration with Fondazione Santa Lucia, drew significant interest from researchers and practitioners exploring cutting-edge digital tools for studying animal behavior and improving welfare outcomes.

On December 15, 2025, Forty Participants attended the course in Rome. Webinar on National Legislation and Ethics

At the second edtion, this webinar, organized by Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale dell'Abruzzo e del Molise 'G. Caporale' (IZS-Teramo) and Fondazione Guido Bernardini (FGB), is intended for native English language professionals (ie PI, scientists, veterinarians), operating in Italy, who need specific modules (legislation plus ethics) to complete their continuing education in accordance with DM 5 Agosto 2021. We thank IZSAM, the speakers Alberto Gobbi, Sara Fuochi and Augusto Vitale and all the attendants of this online event!

Vet Webinars Series
After the first appointment in November, focused on enrichment case studies, on December 11, a second webinar, in Welfare Assessment, was offered to FGB, Eslav and Eclam community. About 100 participants joined the meeting.  A great thank to the speaker, Lucy Whitefield, and to Datesand for sponsoring the online meeting.
