Course "The Management of Genetically Modified Rodent Colonies"


The course covers the management of GM rodents from the breeding husbandry and care and methods to securing genetic material according to the latest views. The generation of transgenics is not a prime subject of this course.

Theoretical and practical views are presented. The programme includes a session where participants are give the opportunity to present one or more cases from their daily practice for discussion with the faculty and other participants.

After registering, you'll receive an Order Acknowledgement confirming your registration. Payment of the fee is due before course commencement. The invoice will be provided after full payment has been received and in any case by September, 25.

No refund will be given for cancellation received after invoice raising.
CPD Credits:

This course awards 10 CPD credits by IAT, 30 CPD credits by the Society of Biology and 1,5 day continuing education by Swiss Veterinary Association.

Facility managers and supervisors, animal welfare officers, veterinarians, lab. biologists, senior technicians, GM colony breeding coordinators and managers.
