During this two-day course the participants are guided by expert instructors through the traditional, as well more innovative procedures (e.g., sentinels-free approach) for health monitoring, the interpretation of results and action plans in case of confirmed infection.
The content of the course includes: traditional and emerging agents, relevant international guidelines, selection of laboratory techniques for health monitoring, including innovative techniques such as EAD-PCR, screening of incoming animals and biological samples, control of the macro- and micro-environment, disaster plan in case of confirmed infection.
